As someone who occasionally visits this bar, I'll say my opinion matters far more than the other reviews... ha.. They get 5 star for food because you can bring your own. 5 star for service because they can make you feel like family,,,, they go out of their way to serve a drink exactly the way you like it. They won't put up with rude but reward kindness.. 5 stars for atmosphere. It's a lively mix of regulars and first time guests, where anyone is welcome. The vibe is have fun, be social, respectful, go with the flow and you may make a friend or two. The pool tables are my favorite part, gre

I am not sure if they serve food or not, I never go there to eat. just to grab a beer or two and either shoot pool in the spacious Area (no.need for. the dreaded short cuestick bc you are too close to a wall) or sit at the bar where the bartenders are friendly and funny. the atmosphere is great, perhaps a direct result of having the BestBar Name Ever.I believe it's in Hillcrest but it's feel is grittier a la North Park

An oldie but goodie. They only accept cash, but they have an ATM inside. I like coming here to play pool and drink pear cider 😆 they have a few games to play, a long bar, a couple booths inside, and now an outside patio space. Not much to look at. This is where you bring old friends you actually like to hang out with.

This is second time that I was refused service at this dive bar. Jason wanted to double down about the way we “stubbled” to the bar. I had to ask if he was refusing service to us. The most unprofessional response that I’ve heard from a bartender. This is the first bar that i took to show a tourist and you ruined it. I understand a refusal for service at a bar but there is way to articulate that.
