Beautiful spot, great service. Happened to meet the owner and he let us know that he owns it with his wife and his sister. It is a black owned coffee shop and they have multiple locations in California. All of the art on the walls was made by local artists and is available to buy with all proceeds going back to the artist. Can’t wait to come again.

Nirvana Soul is an absolute gem in downtown San Jose. They are a small business and the energy and vibe in this place is unmatched. They are warm, welcoming, and full of life. We visit during Fanime every year, and even when the shop is packed with convention-goers, the staff never loses their cool or their kindness. Recently we lost an earbud during our visit, and Tyler noticed it and set it aside for us until we came back. Such a small thing, but it made a world of difference to us. I stopped by this cool coffee shop today and it completely exceeded my expectations! The coffee was so delicious; perfectly smooth and rich, and the sweet potato pie was absolutely amazing. 🥧✨ The space itself is beautiful, filled with inspiring local art and good vibes, feel-good music. I recently stopped by Nirvana Soul in downtown San Jose and ordered the Red Eye — brewed coffee with espresso. The coffee was excellent and honestly the first time I’ve ordered a drink like that without feeling the need to customize it.
