An excellent diner and one of my favorite breakfast spots. I've personally known it as Caroline's, San Marcos Family Restaurant and for many years now Pegah's. The same excellent food, service and reasonable costs. As a kid, I even remember when the half with just tables was the donut shop. We'll done Pegah's. Keep it going.

Very unfortunate recent events that have been happening at both Pegah restaurants I’ve been to both here and Escondido. I have usually always loved going to these restaurants but two recent events have made me believe this may be an issue at both. The two female waitresses that were working on the morning of Sunday 4/19 were very rude and showing what I didn’t want to believe were signs of discrimination and racism. Being the only Hispanic people in the building the waitresses were not attentive, ignored our table, and when it was brought to their attention were extremely rude and immediately

Came here and was so happy to find there was no line to get a table when there was a line at mama kat's. Turns out, this place has way better food than Mama Kat's! No line to get a table at breakfast, the food came out quickly, our server was a very nice woman, the food was delicious, and the restaurant is clean, with lots of beautiful natural light coming in the windows. I absolutely recommend this place.
