I am so excited to find Yet Wah for the first time and so grateful they are open til midnight! They have great decor and lighting for a Chinese restaurant, and a full bar! We ordered the Kung Pao Scallops (without the green bell pepper, which they were happy to accommodate). The scallops were so tender and fresh tasting, and the portion was generous for a $21 dish of scallops, onion, water chestnuts, slices of crunchy seaweed and peanuts. Yet Wah is a great restaurant I highly recommend. I was first introduced to Yet Wah when they had a location in Foster City. The San Rafael location is the last Yet Wah which is sadly closing at the end of the month. I will really miss this mainstay that you can count on for excellent Chinese food. Their Sub Gum Yee is amazing and offers a wide variety in one dish. I always love having their Lemon Chicken, Prawns in Lobster Sauce, Sizzling Rice Soup and Orange Beef. And their Almond Pressed Duck is a rare dish you really can't find anywhere else in the Bay Area. Kensey has often served us and

This is the BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT in Marin!!! The owner and his beautiful wife have worked tirelessly for over 50 years perfecting their skills in quality, delicious meals. Both of them work hands on with their staff and provide the best service as well as reliable take out and even delivery. They have many awards and are credited with serving many venues throughout the SF Bay Area. They have worked in conjunction with the Marin Chinese Cultural Center. For many years, they were acknowledged and credited by the Pacific Sun. I’ve seen them in action providing great scholarship opportunities

I love the food, service, and the friendliness of the staff. Joaquin has always been very astute and professional. We’ve been customers for over 20 years. Yet Wah has excellent and delicious Chinese dishes. Their hot and sour soup is the best in Marin!
