One of the only places in town where you can get ground beef (instead of shredded beef) tacos. My go-to meal is the taco plate for $15 - 2 tacos, rice, beans and a nice HOT taco sauce on the side. Delicious! Each of their locations has a different vibe. The Cerrillos Road location has a real mom-n-pop feel. Nothing fancy here. No smiles when they take your order from behind plexiglass (so weird). But, the food is reliably yummy. Possibly the best frito pie in town.

Was told this was the place to go while working in Santa Fe and wasn't disappointed. Got a carne adovada burrito with beans and cheese. 100% worth it. Definitely gonna come back to try more of the menu, especially the tacos.

I've been to El parasol multiple times in my travels through the area. I've never had a bad experience until now. The beef enchiladas were simple, ground beef in corn tortillas. What surprised me was the fact that the red chilli was from a can of some variety. The green chilli was familiar beuno chilli but served cold on top of the enchiladas. Rice had no flavor and was in what tasted like tomatoe sauce just tomato sauce. I also ordered 2 sirloin tacos as you can tell in the picture was just steak cuts with a spoonful of guacamole and 1 olive no heart put into this at all. Get some flavor back

I’m from a native from Santa Fe and lived here my entire life. I’ve been eating at el parasol for more than 23 years. I’ve been eating here since they opened the location in Santa Fe. Throughout the years I noticed the quality has gone down. Recently, I ate at the one in Española and got a tostada, and it was really good and great tasting. Today, I wanted to get one but since I’m from Santa Fe I decided to go through the drive through. I ordered 2 chicken tacos, 2 tostadas, 2 drinks, and 2 biscochitos. I understand things do happen however, this place has changed completely. I asked for guacam
