There might be fancier places in Santa Fe but you won't find fresher fish and more attention to detail than at Izmi. Their new menu is amazing. Thre yellowtail w jalepeno special is to die for as is the new tuna tataki special. As the Itami-san gets in ftesh option he will put off-menu specials on the board. This is my go to sushi place in Santa Fe and a great place to bring visitors.

It surprises me some of the reviews. This place is so fun, so delicious, so cozy and with amazing service. Their tempura shrimp has no comparison. Their salmon wrap is a culinary masterpiece. Miles above Izinami!

All time best authentic Japanese sushi and sake ever!!! My family and I go at least 2x a month and always the best experience had. We also adore the server Mika as she takes great care of us and the owner/family are beyond hospitable. This place is a must try and their desserts...well you better save room!
