We visited the original The Pantry Restaurant during our trip to Santa Fe and overall had a very pleasant experience. The service was warm and attentive throughout the meal, and the cocktails were surprisingly good as well. I was especially excited to try the fried chicken steak, but it ended up being thinner and drier than expected, and not as juicy as I had hoped. The highlight of the meal for me was actually the Green Chile Stew. It was rich, comforting, and full of flavor — easily my favorite dish of the night and a great introduction to classic New Mexican comfort food. Overall, still

Had the green chile smothered brisket with vegetables and mashed potatoes, excellent. The green chile stew was thicker than I anticipated, still great. Only (small) ding is for the sopaipilla, was pretty greasy, or more accurately still dripping heavilywith cooking oil when I got it. Used a nap to soak it up a bit but didn't finish it. It was huge though! 4 stars for the food!

The Pantry came highly recommended during our trip to Santa Fe. It was super busy and there was a bit of a wait but it was definitely work it. The food was AMAZING and the service was fast and friendly. Special shoutout to their potatoes (YUM!!). We tried to come back for early dinner but again, SO BUSY! Good for you guys!! I even bought one of the shirts the servers were wearing. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area 😊
