Ghoncheh Milani★★★★Stopped by Big Basin Cafe in Saratoga and had a cappuccino and tiramisu. Both were really good. The cappuccino was smooth and well made, and the tiramisu was fresh, not too sweet, and had a nice texture. Cute, relaxed spot to sit and take a break. Service was friendly and everything came out quickly.
Bo Dachus★★★Unfortunately this place did little to impress me. It was clean and well maintained. The chocolate mocha tasted like there was a chocolate shortage as the taste was definitely lacking. We also tried the brownie which also was nothing special. The chocolate icing on top also had very little chocolate flavor. Yes, it was VERY sweet...VERY sweet. But also in the brownie there appeared to be a chocolate flavor shortage. Sweet does not equal chocolate, even if it has the same color of chocolate. Next time I will visit the other cafes nearby.
Sangwoo Ji★★Good coffee. But. Finding actual eggshells in my food completely killed my appetite and ruined the entire experience. Because of that, I highly recommend that you just stick to the coffee if you visit this cafe. If you are really starving, do yourself a favor and only get their ready-made packaged items instead of ordering any of their cooked meals. Honestly, their cooking skills are absolutely awful and there is zero attention to detail in the kitchen. The only saving grace is that their coffee is actually pretty nice
A.J. Eiserloh★★★Went here cause I was looking for a good cafe sandwich. I ordered the BLT on wheat. The bacon was thin and crispy but had a bit too much mayo. The sandwich size was good. The side item that comes with it is regular corn chips but nothing to dip it with like salsa or something. Who eats regular corn chips by themselves? Probably won’t come here again. I wasn’t impressed.
