We made a reservation for 9 people and they were very accommodating. We had a fantastic time, the staff were all super friendly. They have a bar, sushi bar, regular tables and multiple hibachi tables. I’d highly recommend coming. My friends enjoyed the fried ice cream, fried banana foster, I had nibbled and liked them very much I ordered the salmon and chicken hibachi meal with a Shirley temple for $33 They renamed to Robata

I was really disappointed with my order. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with rice and asked for green onions on my rice, but instead I got carrots, cucumber, and zucchini on the side, which wasn’t what I requested. The chicken was unbelievably dry and lacked the juicy texture you’d expect from teriyaki chicken. To make matters worse, the meal cost $27 for a very small portion, and it didn’t even include a drink. For that price, I expected much better quality and a more satisfying meal. Unfortunately, I don’t feel like the food or portion size justified the cost.

We brought our son’s family to celebrate grandma’s birthday and every one of us enjoyed the experience. The chef’s show was delightful. Our grandsons were enthralled. The food was very good.

Osaka Sushi and Hibachi in Scranton offers a decent Japanese dining experience, but the atmosphere could use a bit of a refresh. The restaurant feels a little worn down, and a more updated or maintained environment would definitely enhance the overall dining experience. That said, the sushi itself was tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the chirashi. The fish was fresh, and the portion was generous, making it a satisfying meal. While the ambiance might not be top-notch, the quality of the food compensates for it. If you’re in the area and craving sushi, Osaka is worth a visit, especially if you
