What a delightful surprise. My wife and I have lived in the neighborhood for almost two years. We finally wandered in, and the food was perfect. Simple basics, done really well. Nothing pretentious or overly fancy. Just solid dishes prepared with care. I ordered the chicken fried steak. Not my usual go-to, but I am glad I did. It came with fresh hash browns that were the highlight of the meal. They had this great al dente quality to them. I love the light blue color used in both the exterior signage and the inside, in a large piece with birds on branches carved into it. I think they have broadened out their menu, a bit, as I do not remember being able to order a garden omelet, when I ate here before. I very much liked my omelet and I remember that my wife enjoyed her food, also. It is also reasonably priced. And, they have a lovely collection of succulents on the window frames. The service was attentive and friendly. I am really so glad to have the Cheeky as a place to eat.

What a delightful surprise! The menu has something for everyone. I had the pasta carbonara and every bite was absolute perfection. It was served with a piece of Texas toast, garlic bread that really rounded out the dish. Our server was extremely friendly.
