Had a great happy hour experience. Oysters were delicious and fresh. Ordered the happy hour crab roll and the shrimp nugget slider. Hear me out. The slider always so good and that pickled cucumber salad situation on the side is so on point. Was able to chat with chef Josh about the menu and he was as excited about what they're doing there as I was. Definitely a place to stop after or before visiting pike's market.

Half Shell is a lovely neighborhood seafood spot, especially if you can catch happy hour. We went for the $2 oysters, and they were delicious, fresh, simple, and exactly what you’d want from a casual Seattle-area seafood place. I do wish there were a few more topping options for the oysters, but the quality itself was great. The outdoor seating was really nice, and the staff were pleasant and welcoming. To be honest, Half Shell and Mr. Fish next door feel very similar to me in terms of service, vibe, and food quality, so I almost think of them as companion spots. Both have that relaxed, fresh

Stopped by for a quick bite during their Oyster Happy Hour, and it was fantastic! The oysters were incredibly fresh and paired perfectly with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. My husband and I ended up having a dozen each because they were so good. We also tried the roasted oysters, which had a nice kick of spice and a lovely crunch. Despite the place being quite busy, the staff remained patient and provided excellent service. Overall, a great spot for Happy Hour!

Food was fine: caesar salad lacked acidity, potato buns were overcooked, carpaccio wasn’t doing the seafood any favors. Extremely overpriced. Wine list was meh. The service was what made me give such a poor review. The waitress barely checked on our table. We were interested in the crab roll; she said it was 10”; it was maybe 5” (a wild difference for $44). When we addressed this with her she shrugged it off. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Lots of other restaurants within a block radius.
