What a gem! A small French inspired Japanese cafe that really feels like stepping back into Japan! Every dessert is curated with thought. A great matcha spot too!

Kyle Cooley★★★★★

Mitten serves some seriously pretty Japanese-French fusion desserts, and they taste pretty darn good, too. This is obviously a bakery that prioritizes aesthetics, so you can expect every item to be exquisitely and creatively designed. This does mean that the prices are higher than you'd see elsewhere and that the flavors are not always the focus, but nothing I tried here was bad. My favorite of the desserts is the matcha cream puff, which is prepared to order. The texture is perfect and the cream is deeply matcha without being too sweet. Other favorites are the sesame cube donut, the kabocha

This is the best fruit tart in Seattle! It tastes just like the ones I had in Japan! The fruits are very fresh, with no weird stale taste. My favorite part is the crust! It’s crispy and has a really nice aroma. If you need a birthday cake, I highly recommend this fruit tart! The message plate on top is super cute 💗💗

Got a red bea matcha cake, strawberry cake, and matcha cream puff. I thought I had a sweet tooth, but apparently, I don’t have enough. The cake was way too sweet for me to finish. Every layer was excessively sweet.
