april★★★★★This tucked away gem was a great experience. We were seated in a romantic booth that felt nice and cozy. Our waiter was really nice and the drinks were yummy. The Brussels sprouts were absolutely amazing, some sort of glaze I wanted to lick the plate. The steak dinner was cooked well and well seasoned, I didn’t care much for the side of fennel however the potatoes was amazing. For dessert the butterscotch crème brûlée was phenomenal, maybe the best I’ve ever had. The photos came out dark because the lighting is very romantic and dark. I’m heading back today for more cream brûlée 😅
Elvis Coronado★★★★★Excellent establishment. Spent a lovely Valentine’s weekend in Seattle. Best food and service received during my stay in the downtown area. Atmosphere was a little dark but overall great place for cocktails, food, and service. Appetizers were top notch. Highly recommend.
John Preston★★★★The Zig Zag Café, which is nestled on the lower levels of Pike Place Market on the way to the piers, offers jazz music a few nights a week. I stopped in to listen, take-in the vibe and have something to eat. The café is a small intimate space perfect for listening to and watching jazz. I was intrigued by the Savory Sage Bread Pudding, which was made with sherry mushroom cream sauce, wild mushroom and parmesan cheese. The dish came to the table boiling hot, too hot in fact. I had to wait 15 minutes before I could safely take a bite. Once it cooled down, I enjoyed the depth of flavors…the creamy
Smith Jorde★★★★★Had such a good time here! The playlist was great, the drinks were on point, and the food didn't disappoint. I ordered the devilled eggs and mushroom pappardelle, and both were packed with flavor. I also tried the Cardamaro and a Backhanded Compliment, which turned out to be awesome drink choices. Everything tasted fresh and well-made, and the staff helped make the experience even better. It's one of those places where the food, drinks, and atmosphere all come together perfectly.
