Changing it up, and venturing into DC, we decided to try Gypsy Kitchen—new for me. Overall, Gypsy Kitchen was good. We ordered drinks and a couple small plates. The hummus with pita and the shrimp fritters did not disappoint. The seasonal sangria was a great drink to start with. However, we ended the night with an espresso martini—learning that they make it with vodka, espresso flavored vodka, and simple syrup. The flavor of using the espresso vodka vs actual coffee/espresso wasn’t what we were expecting. I don’t know if it’s the “vibe”, but service was a little slow. I felt like we waited f

Incredible on the whole idea of a restaurant. The place it's beautiful and memorable. The food they serve has a world taste and is a great collections of different areas and countries for certain dishes as mix. Ahmed, the gentleman that explain every question that I ask was very knowledgeable about everything that the place had. Amazing guy. I would ask for him again. We will visit again and again. Truly amazing experience.

Went with a group of 6 for a bday dinner. We shared small plates as a table - everything was excellent (only disappointment was the octopus 🐙) the hummus w lamb was phenomenal! We had a lovely tapas style dinner. A little nosh after visiting museums here in DC. Everything was very tasty. We were suited upstairs on the patio. It was beautiful and very stylish and hip. The bathrooms were super clean.
