Lindsay H★★★★★Jitters is the cutest donut shop in Sioux City and their cake donuts are the best in town. Maple + peanuts is my personal fave but all the flavors are so good! And I love that they have regular tables but also various cozy seating areas with couches etc that are so inviting and feel like you're truly welcome to stay and visit for a while with whoever you went to donuts with. Their new location is so spacious and airy and the food is as delicious as ever. I'm a huge fan!
Orlando★★Jitters is a nice, practical, unpretentious local coffee shop. Nothing spectacular or groundbreaking, but it serves a purpose and appears to be a popular spot in Sioux City. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming enough, and I can see why it has such a strong rating. Food-wise, I ordered the Iowegian Breakfast Wrap. It arrived fresh and warm, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, it was severely underseasoned. With every bite, I searched for that elusive seasoning, hoping it would eventually appear. To my dismay, it never did. The wrap wasn't bad—it was simply bland. The donuts were okay
facespace123★When you call ahead to order MAPLE AND Chocolate donuts, but they somehow don't manage to deliver on their end and only give you chocolate. Driving almost 2 hours for these because of how good they are. It's the principle. Disappointing. Ridiculous.
Modestus of Jerusalem★★★★★This is the archetypal coffee shop. A local affair, catering to the community in a very important way. There is enough space for everyone, and it's affordable for everyone. They have fresh donuts. Real donuts. Chocolate with sprinkles that fall off, crispy rings of dough. Coffee better than anything else you can get locally. All for a great price. The whole time we were eating the line was out the door, and it's obvious to see why- just like the sign says; "This is so good! and its cheap too!"
