First meal in Louisiana and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! I got crawfish etouffee, we split a alligator sausage, and he got crawfish. The flavor was AMAZING! No season needed. Oh and let's not forget the boudan balls and gumbo that came on the side 🤤🤤🤤🤤 10/10 definitely will be back 😋

March 2026 We visited the seafood market for the great selection of seafood. We were impressed and surprised by the sparkle trouts, red fish, flounders and different fish filets. They cleaned and processed the fish professionally. My rating as 5 is very satisfied Freshness 5/5 Speed of service 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Speed of service 5/5 Attentiveness 5/5 Highly recommended this local fish market and we will love to revisit.

You order crawfish expecting them to actually taste like crawfish, not like everything else imaginable. There are way too many spices, and you can’t taste the crawfish itself even one percent. That said, the local oysters are truly delicious — no argument there PS: I was surprised by the owner's sarcastic tone. New Orleans is a tourist destination, and Google is where everyone leaves reviews. The owner is a real hero for keeping this old, dilapidated building right next to a noisy highway afloat for 36 years, despite the terrible food. The owner's response to me was completely inappropriate.
