Lucy M★★★★★My favorite South Asian restaurant thus far. We ordered the Himalayan plate which had veggie pakoras, paneer pakoras and a large veggie samosa. Delicious! For our entrees we ordered the Aloo Gobi and Saag Paneer. The portions were small but filling and flavorful. If they sold the sauce of the Aloo Gobi alone, I would buy it. Everything tasted fresh, clean and light. Meaning, we didn’t feel “heavy” after everything we ate. We also ordered Garlic Naan. The Naan was just ok. The waitress serving us offered good customer service and kept us hydrated. The restaurant and bathroom were clean. Loved a
Rachel Barth★★★★★Every time we come here, the food is delicious and the service is great. Himalayan mix grill, samosa chaat, mango lassi, naan, Nepali Thali special, chicken korma - all 10/10.
Anonymous Anonymous★★★★★Himalayan Cafe in Pasadena is a spot I found myself going back to multiple times—and that says a lot. Their spicy chicken thukpa is absolutely awesome, rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. It’s easily one of the highlights on the menu. I also tried a few of their curries, and they were really good. A quick note for anyone going in—this is a Nepalese restaurant, not an Indian one, so expect a slightly different flavor profile. That said, the curries are still fantastic. The chicken curry, in particular, stood out and was even better than the vindaloo in my opinion. Overall, a great place
