Maddi Burke★★★★★Me and my fiance just moved up to Reno 6 months ago and have been coming to the GSR regularly. We finally had the chance to try two different restaurants and they were both extremely delicious with quick and exceptional service. Tonight we decided to try the Grand Cafe and I was completely blown away. Not only did they have a full bar, but the prices were extremely reasonable and the food came out quickly. Our server Alex was amazing and took great care of us. She was super attentive and had amazing hospitality. The pot sticker appetizer was perfectly crunchy and came with a yummy chili sauce
Joel Bonilla★★Service was fine and I was seated quickly. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad and that’s where things fell short. The portion of chicken was very small for the price, and the salad was mostly lettuce with a few croutons and parmesan. It tasted okay, but it didn’t feel like a full or balanced meal—especially for around $18. If you’re ordering here, I’d recommend asking for extra protein or choosing a different dish. As it stands, the Caesar salad isn’t a good value.
Nghia Gip★GSR standards have DROPPED big time!! We came in at 8:45 PM on a Tuesday and the restaurant was completely empty. We stood at the front for a while, but a few servers and the host were talking and did not acknowledge my family or me at all. I had to interrupt their conversation just to ask for a table for four. When we were seated, there was no silverware set up. GSR has really gone downhill. They are now using napkins with silverware pockets instead of properly folded cloth napkins like they used to. We ordered the ribeye with baked potato, NY steak and eggs, black bean burger, and calamari.
Busco Rodriguez★★★DO BETTER GSR, I ORDERED A HANGOVER BURGER WITH SWEET POTATO FRIES. I WSS DEFINITELY DISAPPOINTED IN NOT ONLY THE SOZE BUT QUALITY OF THE BURGER. BUNS ARE FALLING APART WHILE YOU'RE TRYING TO EAT IT. THE BUNS AREN'T EVEN TOSSTED, THE SWEET POTAO FRIES WERENT FRESH. THE ONLY THING THATS EXCELLENT HERE IS THE STAFF FROM THE HOSTESSES WHO SEAT YOU AND BRING YOU YOUR DRINK, TO THE GENTLEMAN WHO BRINGS YOUR FOOD OUT TO THE WAITRESS WHO WAS GREAT HER NAME WAS TESLA. THEY DAVE THIS PLACE. BUT $21.00 FOR A CRAPPY BURGER? NEVER AGAIN.
