On a lovely fall afternoon, I was craving loaded fries and found a Reddit tip to try the butter chicken poutine at Mango Tree. My heart leapt… I love butter chicken, and on fries? Incredible! I headed to the downtown Spokane location, and it did not disappoint. Our server, Jaeden, confirmed I made a great menu choice, and he was absolutely right. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and comforting. I finished it off with a cool, sweet mango lassi… the perfect pairing. Fantastic food, friendly service, and a fun twist on comfort food classics. Highly recommend!

They offer a nice kid’s menu at a good price $8. My son liked the mango juice, butter chicken, and ice cream. Plus the gold fish from the beginning. The fish in the mixed grill entree was delicious and not many places do it so well as The Mango Tree. The chicken curry and the rice were decent. Will recommend. The staff were very friendly. Nice atmosphere. We got lucky that we arrived early with no wait time.

Interesting foods to choose from. I love Indian food but don't know a lot about the different styles yet. Authentic Indian chefs, some food is sent from India. Helpful staff, great about helping with honest ratings of spice levels.

At the recommendation of the hotel concierge, I stopped in for a late lunch during a work trip to Spokane. I ordered veggie tikki masala and garlic naan — the food was outstanding (be mindful of the spice level) and the service top notch (thanks, Braden). The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired (maybe better when busy in the evening or at traditional lunch hour?!), but fine for a quick meal or takeout.
