food took 30 mins to come out my group ordered corkscrew calamari with side of fries, 12 piece wings with fries, a queso chicken wrap with baked potato and fries. brought out 8 wings maybe 15 french fries total. calamari came out with barely anything on the plate with no sauce they said they would bring it out took them 15 mins to bring out sauce and took them 45 mins to bring out the chicken wrap. never was asked for a refill or another beer. by the time the calamari sauce came out food was already cold and never received my side of fries. worst place to eat downtown springfield.

We really enjoyed our food. My sister was in town for only one day, on a Monday and we really didn't want to go to a chain restaurant plus we wanted to show off downtown. We are new residents, lived here one year and are enjoying learning the history here. Very nice to visit a real downtown, downtowns elsewhere are disappearing and devoid of life. Looks like a nice place to sit at an outside table but the weather was extremely warm. Would definitely visit again.

Uodated the next week: Had another great experience here. I ordered another salad...my favorite, the Strawberry Hill, and the kitchen was amazing!! The chef even came out to see if i enjoyed the salad. Such great people!! A favorite stop for sure. Original review: Great service throughout our visit. I also had an awesome salad, with some allowed modifications. The waitress got it right and the kitchen nailed it. I definitely recommend stopping here. They have a variety of items on the menu, something for everyone.

Outstanding staff with incredible customer service! The food was also excellent…hard to pick with everything good on the menu. Katie was our group’s bar tender and server…Big Whiskey is lucky to have her. Only thing better than the drinks and food was the SERVICE she provided. We’ll definitely be back next time we are in Springfield.
