Really didn’t deserve one star, Shirley’s Donuts is straight trash. I see why Tupelo changed their name to Scarlett, I wouldn’t want to be associated with the garbage Shipley’s Donuts presents to their customers. I honestly wanted to turn my car around, walk back in there and demand my money back, after throwing these donuts where they belong, garbage. Shipley’s in Starkville need to take a drive to Tupelo and beg Scarlett to teach y’all how to make delicious donuts. Overpriced Do-Nuts. Line is 20 minutes long in the morning. Service is like fast food squared. At the prices they charge they should be smiling and laughing at the prices they charge for donuts.

Their plain glazed donuts and Sausage Egg & Cheese Kolaches are awesome. I have had kolaches at very fewer places which are as delicious as here.

I was in Shipley at 7am on 11/20/25 I was expecting to get fresh hot/warm donuts but instead I got cold donuts that tasted like they had been there for a while. I remember going to Shipley and the donuts were so good I couldn’t stop eating them. Even the caucasian hostess seamed like she was tired. No good morning no smile. My husband said they sucked and leaves a different taste in your mouth.
