If you like Mexican American food, then you’ll probably enjoy Green Lemon. It’s got a really fun & hip environment that’s super colorful and fun. Most of the food wasn’t outstanding, just okay. But it depends what you get. My steak burrito was actually quite good, the steak was tender and seasoned well. But other things like the buffalo chicken and rice kind of lack more dimension in the flavor. But again, if you enjoy Mexican you’ll like this place. They have a big sampler you can get that’s guacamole, salsa and queso with chips which is perfect to share with a group. We also tried the churro cheesecake, which the server raved about but that was probably the worst thing we had. It just tasted really bland, the berry sauce was the only thing that gave it a taste. It was weird. Green Lemon also has lots of fun margaritas and other drinks if you’re into that. Located in the South Howard part of Tampa it’s a nice walking area during the day.

The margaritas 🍹 tasted exactly how a margarita is suppose to taste. That is legit saying something. Our server was amazing also.

Today was our first time going to Green Lemon and it exceeded our expectations. Lo was our waitress and was absolutely phenomenal, one of the most helpful and friendliest wait staff we’ve had in a while and we go out to eat often in Tampa Bay. We would go back to Green Lemon just because of Lo and her service alone but on top of it the food was amazing too. Since it was our first time there, Lo gave us a free dip trio on the house, so good! She saw I was drinking matcha that I brought in from a nearby coffee shop and she recommended their Matchata and woooow it was fantastic. I got the quesadillas and my husband got a bowl and both were very flavorful. Will definitely be returning again soon!

Athena, the manager, was amazing!! She was so attentive and kind. She sat us immediately, personally showed me where the bathroom was, and when our server was busy with other tables came over to cash us out. The 24 oz margaritas are great and the street trio is a great way to taste some of the tacos. The Shia le beef was especially good.
