Impressed with our first visit here. We dined at Malek during Ramadan, and arrived early to make time for the food order, and it surprisingly came out earlier than Iftar time. Staff offered us date fruit to break out fast with. They provided a handful of vegetarian options, and the Majadara (lentils, rice, fried onions) were SO good. Lentil soup and bread were so fresh, especially the bread. Didn’t feel stale or hallow. Their salad was well seasoned. Gave garlic sauce, and spicy garlic too. Truly happy with the quality here, and the staff’s ability to tend to large crowds and level of cleanl

The place was decorated very nicely for Valentine's Day. The employees were very nice. Booths are a good size for at least 4 people. We had items from the Appetizers, and from the dinners. One had the chicken stir fry with rice, one had

First time visiting this joint. We ordered their platter for 2 which was more than enough for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). The price is reasonable considering their serving size is very gracious. Kafta, Sheesh tauk chicken were the highlights. The complimentary fresh bread platter was amazing! Appreciate the service by Youssef. I will definitely be heading here once I am back in Detroit!

We tried this Mediterranean restaurant for dinner after hearing several recommendations from friends, and it definitely lived up to the praise. The hummus tasted fresh and creamy, the grilled chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the rice had incredible flavor without feeling overly heavy. Portions were generous enough that we both took leftovers home, which rarely happens when dining out lately. Compared to other Mediterranean places we’ve visited nearby, the ingredients here tasted much fresher and more authentic overall. The restaurant itself felt clean and welcoming, and the staff checked on
