The only thing I regret about Homeslice is waiting so long to try it. Nice vibes in the cozy old school bar/dining room area. Killer beer selection and a pizza menu to satisfy all tastes. I went for the carnivore pizza and an Italian salad. The salad is big enough to share with three or four people if you want an appetizer. The pizza came out pretty quickly too. Gorgeous looking,piping hot steam coming off it and cut in nice size pieces. Snappy thin crust not drowning in sauce and plentiful toppings all cooked to well done perfection. The friendliest people I ran into in Toledo! Service was pretty quick and they helped get my pizza out quickly as I was heading home after the game. Happened to stop by here because I went somewhere else first but was never served. Pizza crust was pretty thin. Would have preferred just slightly thicker. Some of the smaller pizzas had a thicker crust. Toppings were pretty good. I had the BBQ chicken and another chicken on with a kick to it. I had enough for leftovers for the next day. Taking a break from the Maumee Film Festival a good buddy of mine wanted to share a piece of his college days with me. We ordered the DeCarlo and cheese bread. A few months back I visited New York and ate pizza at a couple places. This pizza here is definitely a notch higher than one of those places- the cream cheese blending with the bbq sauce, 5 cheese blend and the hot sauce: the flavor is addicting! I’m glad I don’t live close because I’d be here an unhealthy amount. I look forward to my next visit here when I’m in town!

Embarrassinly I have lived in the Toledo area most of my adult life and I have only had home slice once before I gave it another try today. What a mistake! Home slice is such a charming place with the best pizza in Toledo! The pie has such a tasty crunchy crust and the ingredients are top notch. The slice has no flop and it's cooked to perfection. We also got the home slice bread which was so good as well! Home slice will for now on be part of pizza stops in the area. Give them a try you won't be disappointed!
