I'm going to give them a second chance because I did order 1 hour before closing. This time the hushpupppies were burnt. The chicken tenders were cooked so hard I couldn't bite them The meat tasted microwaved and I received 3 pieces of broccoli. The coleslaw was not fresh. I did not eat. I threw it away.

This is my first time trying Captain D’s and I’m extremely surprised that this is that good. My food was made fresh, the restaurant itself was clean and organized- but the star of the show here is the gentleman that took my order. (tall/w glasses) super patient and polite. I appreciate that- look forward to seeing you again! You got a new regular.

Health Dept Score: 95/96 A! Tucker location, Hugh Howell Area! (ONE of thee best Health Dept Scores in the whole neighborhood!!!) When we walked in the tall, African Amer male cashier spoke right away! He was so polite and courteous! We ordered our food and he brought the tray to our table! This is an action I can tip for! He guided us through the best meal options and even upsold us with the drinks! I don't know why the google reviews are so low but this place is very clean and neat. I don’t typically leave reviews, but this recent experience was traumatic and incredibly unprofessional. Whoever the lady is that took the order was visibly in tears at the window, seemingly because I respectfully asked to remove a pair of sides from the order. I didn’t even know there was an issue beforehand, because it seemed like such a normal friendly interaction that happens when changing an order. She then proceeded to tell me that I asked for too much and too many changes and said workers get in trouble for deletions. Next she told me I’m gonna be the reason she’s gets fired. A minute
