The first time we came, the food was spectacular. That was on a weekend. Today, we decided to come for lunch on a Monday. First, it was so hot in there. I ignored that because I knew the food was worth it. Except today, it was far from what we expected especially for the price. My husband and I have been craving the French onion soup since our first visit. The soup was cold, the cheese was only melted on the top and not in the bowl. The flavor was still there, so we didn’t say anything and just ate it. However, when our meals came that’s when we had a major issue. Our daughter ordered her stea

Horrible food. Bread dry and tasteless. Came for a steak salad. I wasn’t impressed with ingredients listed on menu and requested the chicken salad ingredients but substituted steak for chicken. Did not mind paying for the substitution. Salad came in medium size high side bowl resembling a cereal bowl. Ordered medium rare. It came medium well to well. They served it with butter versus bib lettuce. Lettuce had wilted greens and bitter center chunk. Pecans were burnt not toasted. Picked through what I could. Server said he noticed the overcooked steak when he brought it out. He talked to the man

I love this place! The Half Priced Burger Sunday’s keeps me coming back. It’s a mighty slab of beef beautifully cooked and presented. The restaurant is a pleasant environment, but we usually opt to eat in the lounge. The bar staff is great — Ryan (not sure if that’s his name) is not only attentive but also quite witty. Clientele is friendly; many seem to be regulars, probably from the Country Club. Definitely worth your Sunday lunch if you’ve never been here!
