I tried the CCL latte and blueberry muffin and both were good! The barista who helped me was very understanding and explained the drink I ordered well. The latte has a stronger coffee taste and coconut flavor which I loved. The muffin was so soft and had perfect blueberry filling. The price totaled to around $15 after tip which seemed fairly reasonable. The ambience of the place was nice with soft music in the background. I really loved the look of the interior. Only cons I had were the limited parking outside and small quantity of outlets available to be used. Besides that, it’s a great place

Cartel is one of those places you walk into and immediately feel like staying a while. The space is warm, industrial, low-key cool, no rush energy, just good vibes and good coffee. The mocha? Deliii. Rich, smooth, not overly sweet, the kind you actually enjoy sip by sip. And the vegan burrito… unexpectedly emotional. It legit tastes like a paste from Hidalgo, flaky, comforting, savory, not pretending to be anything else, just really well done. Las papas con rajas poblanas, nunca fallan. Everything tastes thoughtful. You can tell they care about flavor, not trends. Perfect spot to slow down,

Ordered a large chai with cashew milk. The barista didn't say anything regarding the size. Didn't explain large is really a small. Paid $8.07 with 15% tip. This is the size I was given!! I haven't been here in years. I used to order large and it was bigger than this. Will continue to go to Raging Sage basically next door or Coffee Times which is a ways further, but worth the price and size options of their drinks!!! I held up this chai to my class for the day and asked them what size they thought it was. When I told them, they laughed and said I got robbed! As far as the chai itself, it is del

The service here is just so bad. It’s really a shame because the offerings are quite good and the coffee is well made. The good quality in lattes hardly makes up for the rudeness of the baristas. It literally costs nothing to be kind to people, and it should be a given considering these people work in service and hospitality. Coffee shops are capable of being bastions of a neighborhood or a community, but the employees here could hardly be paid to care. From being sneered at to flat out ignored, the well made latte hardly seems fit as a consolation prize for the terrible service. Thanks I gue
