Heather was our bartender and Martha was doing karaoke. We just moved from Chicago to Tucson back in February. This place is the most comfortable we’ve been since moving. We laughed and sang and had a great time. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you ladies for an amazing evening.

I love this little dive bar. I'm always surprised when I get my bill because the drinks are so cheap. The bartender, Hugh is amazing. Super smart dude that is highly entertaining. I have so much fun here, even when there's only a handful of patrons. I love bringing my mom here because we have the best time.

We did not contribute to the mirror of kisses by the bathroom. Came here for the first time over the weekend. We asked the bartender (who was sooo fine btw) to surprise us & she made us a big Red Bull drink with duckies in them. It was so good. The DJ was playing so many good songs to turn up to. The patio had loud music as well & the Prince mural was awesome across the street. There is places to sit down if you don’t wanna stand or dance the whole time.

Monkey Bar is the kind of place you end up calling your spot. They have Dragoon IPA on tap, which is my favorite beer and one of the best West Coast IPAs in the country in my opinion. It's brewed right here in Tucson, so grabbing one means I’m supporting two local businesses at once. The vibe is exactly what I want in a bar. It has that welcoming neighborhood feel where everyone gets treated like they belong. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and when the owners are around, they’re just as approachable and easy to talk to. No attitude, no weird bar politics, just good people. Happy h
