I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak with gravy, 2 eggs scrambled, country potatoes, and two pancakes. The restaurant was packed! Everyone was friendly. However, I almost left four stars instead of five because my server didn’t check on me. I take everything into consideration though.

Our waitress (a woman with bangs I didn’t catch her name) seemed rushed and disengaged from the start. Instead of standing still to listen to our order, she appeared eager to walk away, which made us feel brushed off. Throughout our meal, she never came back to check on us or ask if we needed refills or anything else. The only time she asked if we needed anything was at the very end, when we were already packing up our plates to make it easier for her to clean the table.
