zp Yi★★★★★Came back to Jincheng again for this great-value set, and it really lives up to its reputation as a Michelin-listed restaurant for seven consecutive years. The quality is consistently solid, and it’s very family-friendly. We chose a mix of spicy and non-spicy dishes so everyone could enjoy. The Chengdu mala soup was aromatic but not greasy, the scallion Angus ribeye was tender and packed with flavor, and the fried rice was simple yet perfectly done—our kid loved it. The non-spicy Kung Pao chicken was mild and comforting. The purple rice mochi taro dessert was outstanding.
Yunjie Xu★★★★★Great food and even better service. The staff was super patient walking us through the dishes—felt thoughtful, not rushed, which I really appreciated. Flavors? Bold but balanced, with plenty of non-spicy options too (perfect for my friend who isn’t into heat). The vibe here is nice, casual but inviting. Oh, and it’s close to Disney, so convenient if you’re in the area. Solid spot for legit Sichuan cuisine.
Matt Jia★★★★★We were near Disneyland and decided to check out this place for dinner after hearing about it from friends. Wow, the flavors—just hit you. The spice, but not overwhelming, felt balanced somehow. You know when the food just... speaks to your soul? That was it. Service was quick, no long waits even though it seemed busy. Oh, and for my friend who doesn’t do spicy, they had non-spicy options too—so that worked well. Near the freeway too, so easy to find. Real deal Sichuan food here. Legit vibes. Seven years on the Michelin Guide? Yeah, I get why now.
Cynthia Xin★★★★★Oh wow, this spot was something else! I was around Alhambra, and someone mentioned it’s one of the busiest places for authentic Sichuan food. Had to check it out, obviously. Ordered a couple of their hot Sichuan dishes (you know, the real deal). One bite and I legit felt that perfect kick of spice—like, bold but not overwhelming. The flavors had this depth, you could tell they know what they’re doing. And for those who can’t handle heat? Plenty of non-spicy options too. Also, super easy to find—right near the 5 Freeway! If you’re in the area for Disneyland or whatever, it’s pretty convenient
