This is a cute little place, tucked into Somerville Massachusetts, right outside of the busier parts of Boston. There are some street parking and a little plaza with a few metered parking as well that you can pay for. This little shop has a few seats inside, not super big, but smells wonderful. They have some pastries, cakes, and select beverages at your disposal. I wish I could have tried more, but I just had lunch and I only grabbed the carrot cake, and it was delicious. I’m not super big on raisins, but there’s a few recipes that make me not mind them at all and this is one of them. Perfe

This is a review specifically for our wedding cake! As people who don't love Western cake, we really were not interested in the "traditional" multi-tiered wedding cake. If we were going to serve cake, we wanted cake that we actually liked to eat and represented the Asian flavors we love. We are so glad we thought of Maprang! We ordered a one tier 9" wedding cake along with 2 sheet cakes for our 100 person wedding. The wedding cake was mainly for us and the sheet cakes were for the guests. For the wedding cake, we ordered strawberry matcha. For the sheet cakes, we ordered 1 strawberry matcha a

- Excellent pastries: Recommend their Basque Cheesecake which is not too sweet but very tasty with some char. I also tried the Coconut Pandan Cake, which is very well presented and not too sweet. It’s hard to describe the flavor, but it’s just like a typical vanilla, sponge cake that isn’t too sweet - Pastries are reasonable price for quality, about 8-10 dollars per larger pastry and 3-5 dollars for smaller pastries - Really kind and hard working staff; I don’t love how the main pastries are in a different location that you order, as it makes it hard to choose, but I will not complain.

Cozy bakery serving up so many Asian desserts, drinks, and snacks! Food: - Foi Thong Coconut Cake ($7.95) Layers of pandan chiffon cake layered with coconut cream (with real coconut slices) and topped with foi thong. Awesome balance of sweetness and textures. - Ube Basque Cheesecake ($8.95) Creamy, nostalgic cheesecake brimming with ube flavor! Loved this - Taro Puff I LOVE all things taro, and this pastry delivered. Crispy exterior encasing a sweet, smooth taro paste. Service: - The workers are so welcoming and friendly. Makes each visit feel like a warm hug. Interior: - Cozy, warm, and on
