Another great frozen-in-time diner with a nice easy to read extensive menu and just good quality, well prepared, tasty food. Prices are ok - not the cheapest- but not crazy expensive. I ordered a veggie omelet that was delicious. It came with the most unusually prepared potatoe side (homefries) I've ever seen but man were they good! Parking lot is kinda small so if you can find street parking, take it! If you want some good, home cooked food, give Good Neighbor a try, there's a reason it's been around for so long!

Either we visited on a really off day, or all these 5-star reviews are trippin'. I love a no-frills diner, and was sorely disappointed. There was almost nothing redeeming about our meal at Good Neighbor. It wasn't a trainwreck; but usually, when you have an underwhelming experience, there's something you can latch on to. Not the case here. First, the atmosphere. Parking is awful. I concede that's not their fault, but a function of their location, but beware. Anyway, we entered, and nobody was there to greet us. One of my favorite neighborhood breakfast/diner spots! My girlfriend and I love the family vibes here. Their service is really fast and the food is awesome and well-priced. Our favorite is the unique spiral breakfast potatoes that they serve (pictured below). It's a great alternative to some of the more expensive/trendy spots that aren't always the best value.
