I picked up two good size slides of two diffent delicious bread. Both fresh and healthy, with a moist texture that lets you palatal taste the fruit almonds and smooth chocolate. One covered with pumpkin seeds. The third item was a muffin baked leaving the crest slightly toasted but also moist with a firm texture. I would recommend all three with black espresso coffee, no milk. It will complement all three without overwhelming your palatal tasting the rich flavor of the fruit and chocolate in the bread and the muffin. Groundwork has become one of my favorite neighborhood spots. The espresso is always delicious, and the lattes are consistently the perfect temperature and texture. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly, and they always have treats ready for our dog, which makes every visit even more special. Their banana bread is also my absolute favorite! I really love being able to grab a coffee here and spend a few peaceful hours working in such a cozy atmosphere.
