It's nice to go to a restaurant with predictability and consistency in each location. And is always nice when that means good food and good service. You get that with Black Bear Diners. We don't go more than a 2 or three times a year but the food is always predictability good and the service is always even better. My daught and I stopped in just the other day for an early lunch. She had pancakes, bacon and eggs. I hand the tri-tip dip deluxe. The food was good as always and our server was excellent. It's not like going out for something fancy but it always fills you up and doesn't disappoin

I really love this place. The food was delicious. The volcano breakfast was huge! Three Very large, sweet cream pancakes the best pancakes I’ve ever had! It comes with a side of two mates, sausage and bacon. You won’t be able to eat it. All the sausage was Delicious. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, which is also very large a side of home fried hash browns and white cream gravy so good so he says we love this place and we will return the next time we’re this way in California.

The food was amazing. I can’t go into detail because not everyone will like the same thing that I ordered but I ordered the Grizz meal. The recommended Breakfast platter and it lived up to its name and it was definitely delicious.
