Food: the seafood platter was bland. You could tell the actual crab legs or shrimp were not boiled with seasoning. The sauce in the plate helped but it did not help the fact that the crab meat was extremely dry and had no flavor. I did not know crab meat could be dry. The shrimp were over cooked and just felt really chewy. The oysters were not good either. Tried to drown it in lime and hot sauce but ended up leaving most of the plate and did not bring it home. Costa Azul has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Waldorf! My husband and I have visited several times since they opened, and every experience has been consistently great. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and well prepared, and the service has been wonderful each time we’ve visited. The staff are attentive, welcoming, and really help create an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. Definitely a spot we plan to keep coming back to!

Passing through Waldorf on a Friday evening and happened upon Costa Azul. What an absolute delight! Excellent drink selection, and the most amazing fresh seafood to rival any expensive dining establishment. The seafood tower appetizer was huge and contained more fresh seafood than we could've imagined, served with delicious, crispy tostadas with the perfect hint of salt. Nice place! I got the seafood pasta and it was good! One small thing though, My food arrived late, after everyone in my table got theirs—had to ask when my order was gonna come out. The server was very nice and attentive though so that made up for it.
