About
Café on the Common is a small, independent, locally-owned café located right on Waltham Common at the intersection of Main St and Moody St. We’ve been open since 2004 and have been happy to serve a wide variety of coffee addicts! We also have tea, burritos, sandwiches, salads, and avocado toast, just to name a few. Come on in!

Anne B★★★Looked for a coffee shop while waiting for a friend who had surgery not too far. We walked over as it was the only decent coffee shop around. Coffee was ok, on the bitter side for me but what I didn’t understand was all the trash generated by a place that only used disposable cups, plates and silverware😔 I asked for a real cup as I like to drink my coffee from a real cup but none was available. To me this is a deterrent.

My wife has Chai latte which has great flavor. The staff didn’t seem warm and fuzzy but took their jobs very seriously. There are two sections to the cafe with plenty of seating with tables, leather couches and WiFi.
