We order from Islander every other Friday, and I must say their food and service has gone downhill. The owner is super rude; she forgets that repeat customers like myself are the ones who keep her in business. Today was the day where I say enough is enough. I ordered a #9 chow mein, chicken fingers with gravy, and pork fried rice. I asked if she could give me the fried wonton strips when I got there, and she rudely said it's going to be $2.00. I've never had anyone charge me for them, and to be honest, they are usually old and stale. What upset me was that I literally had just finished tipping

I haven’t been here in a few years, I remember it being better. The food was average, decent prices. The Rice didn’t have much flavor, Crab Rangoon were better. The service was very good. If you’re in the neighborhood then give them a try, but I wouldn’t drive miles to go there.

This past Sunday we had my brother and sister-in-laws baby shower here in the banquet room. The staff was so helpful and really went out of their way to accommodate our choices, both in food and room set up. Renee was especially awesome, super efficient, and could handle anything. Lisa was also so kind and helpful in getting the room open to us early enough that day to decorate. The food was delicious, hot and fresh, and refilled quickly.
