An unbeatable advantage being close to the White House in a vibrant area makes it a great choice for tourists and local workers alike. experts in Afghan-Asian cuisine, the food is excellent. Authentic, well-crafted flavors make for a memorable dining experience. Menu Variety: Very good, focused on kebabs, rice, and bread — perfect for lovers of this style of food. Very reasonable price, especially given the prime location. Service: Staff are very friendly, which adds a lot to the positive experience. Parking: No parking directly in front of the restaurant. However, paid public parking lots ar

Have always wanted to try genuine Afghan food and while visiting DC for the weekend my opportunity came up. I walked in and was out 10 minutes later with my to-go order, the lamb platter and baklava dessert. It came to around $20 and the portions were extremely generous. The lamb was tender and flavorful and perfect. I will return on future DC trips 🫶

I had the chicken kabob plate. In the picture there's white rice on the plate (under the naan bread). The chicken, both types of rice, and the bread were my favorite parts!! It was delicious and very filling. I didn't eat the salad (I don't eat salad, and I didn't know it came with the meal). I also tried the chickpeas, but I didn't finish them. They were ok.

Grill kabob has changed for the worst. I went last last night and not only were they out of several items such as kabob’s and chickpeas but their soda machine and rest room were both out of order. The cashier was a young man who was extremely rude and not very welcoming. I honestly think they should have stayed on Vermont Ave. I am completely dissatisfied, and will not be returning.
