My friend and I came here to catch up. It’s a small, intimate spot and we were seated right away. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was hit or miss. The scallion pancake was just okay, and my chicken ramen was pretty bland. My friend said her chicken katsu was alright. The sushi (halfway roll and kani Stella roll) was definitely the highlight. They were fresh and flavorful. Overall, it was an okay experience. Worth trying for the sushi, but nothing that really stood out.

Absolutely fresh and beautifully made sushi! Every time I order from Wasu Japanese Restaurant, the quality is consistent and impressive. The tobiko sushi is perfectly seasoned with generous, vibrant roe, and the rolls are super fresh — you can actually taste the quality of the fish and rice. I also love the presentation: clean, colorful, and carefully packed (as you can see in the photos). Fresh ginger, real wasabi, and crisp greens — nothing feels rushed or sloppy. If you’re looking for authentic Japanese sushi made with care, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Sushi for 2 was absolutely amazing! The presentation was beautiful and everything tasted incredibly fresh. Each piece of nigiri was thick, clean, and flavorful, and the rolls were well-balanced and thoughtfully made. Perfect portion for two people — filling without feeling heavy. You can really tell the quality and care that goes into their sushi. Highly recommend for a date night or sharing with family!
