Maybe we just had a bad night, but the food wasn’t the best bar food we’ve had. Fries tasted like they’d come frozen from a bag, a little grainy, and the burger was dry (I ordered medium rare). However, it wasn’t that expensive and the atmosphere inside is nice for a local place. The bartender who took our order was also nice and helpful.

Visiting from out of town with my mom and brother and we stopped in here. Honestly… I wish we hadn’t. I believe the bartender’s name was Liz. She was unbelievably rude from the moment we walked in. Wouldn’t even acknowledge or serve my mom and I, yet had no problem serving my brother’s local friend. It created such an awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere that we ended up regretting coming in at all. If I didn’t have to leave any stars, I wouldn’t. Came for a fish fry, 1/30/26….AWFUL EVERYTHING. The bluegill of us had, there were all these burnt pieces on the batter….i think the oil was getting bad, Cole slaw had no flavor, and was a very thick consistency, I asked our waitress if they had changed cooks, and she just shrugged her shoulders, and she herself did not look happy being there Have come here several other times, and was very good. I don’t see me coming back here, ever.

This is a smaller, older bar that also serves lunch and dinner. We got there around 4pm so it was not busy. I had the 2 pc. Haddock Fish Fry that came with coleslaw, ryebread, and a choice of side. Nice sized pieces of fish, along with a good serving of fries, so 2 PC was plenty for me. Staff was very efficient and friendly, and the food was very good.
