Went to try it out during Restaurant Week in West Reading. I had the $30 special which included Crab ball appetizer, Manchester by the Sea-- sea scallops on a bed of orzo, spinach and tomato, and Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake. hubby had a Reuben and fries. Everything was excellent.

West Reading tavern is a quaint little bar and restaurant. Wasn't sure if they were open as the only section that is open for dining is the back patio. When you walk in there is no one to greet you or direct you as to where to go. We walked to the back of the restaurant and was greeted warmly by employees. Just a tip to the staff maybe have 1 PERSON to greet guests. We were seated within 10 minutes as the patio was full. They have a great outdoor patio space. It is small but nicely decorated and have big umbrellas to block the blazing sun. I love that. Our server Jordan was great! She provided

Delicious dishes, day and night! Regular restaurant in the back, tavern up front. Patio seating when weather suits! Awesome servers and a roaming art show with local artists and more. Try the unique Tavern seafood salad or excellent truffle fries with roasted garlic aioli!

We waited about 20 minutes for our server to come to the table and over an hour for the food. We didn’t get utensils or napkins when we were seated. The food was pretty good though. The burger was made very well and the fries are delicious, i just think the wait for the food is a bit crazy. I also had a pomegranate martini and that was amazing.
