Had an amazing experience at Diego Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The asada was full of flavor, and both the ceviche and aguachiles were incredibly fresh and tasty. The tacos are definitely a must try, and we couldn’t leave without trying their flan — the perfect way to end the meal. Huge shout out to the chefs for such an incredible meal and experience. Great food, great atmosphere, and great service. Definitely recommend and we’ll absolutely be going back!

The staff and service are incredible. Oscar is the man and actually gave us the history of Diego’s restaurant. You can tell this establishment takes pride in what they do. The food is unreal, the tuna tostada is the winning lottery ticket. I’ve been around and this is easily my favorite tostada. The asada Sunday event is more than just a cookout. It’s an experience!

Overall Diego is a good Mexican spot in the area. We’ve been here a few times but usually for just drinks as they have a good happy hour and a great patio when the weather is nice. We grabbed dinner the last time we came and the food was pretty good! Burger was great, fries were perfect, quesadilla was average, and the salsas for the chips were solid. Service wasn’t the best this day and where we were seated was a tight spot.

We had a group of people that wanted to visit, eat, & drink for a few hours close to the United Center but not right next to it. I had driven past Diego many times and decided the location was perfect. We made a reservation a day before, the table was ready and waiting. I did observe smaller parties coming both with & without reservations being seated promptly as well The service was so friendly and kind. The mixed drinks were creative and so tasty.
