This French restaurant is a great choice for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. The truffle croquettes were my favorite dish, and I highly recommend trying them. The beet chips and kale salad were surprisingly tasty as well. However, the restaurant can get quite busy, which can be a bit of a downside. We had an 8:45 pm reservation, but it ended up being 9:15 pm because of the slow service. The manager was kind enough to send us complimentary food, which saved the night. I didn’t enjoy their red wine selection as much, but overall, it was a good experience.

The food was great, but the ambiance and overall saltiness are the reasons this place isn't getting five stars from me. To their credit, the restaurant offered a complimentary appetizer, the crispy artichokes, which turned out to be a highlight. It was my first time trying artichokes, and they were delicious! Bobo is an excellent place for happy hour. Cheap oysters, good cocktails and a lot of variety on the shareable plates. We were pleasantly surprised by the desserts of all things, the profiterole is to die for! On top of that the ambiance of the restaurant is top notch, it is exactly what you would expect of a place you need to go down to a basement in west village, dimly lit, nice soft music, excellent decor and buzzing conversations everywhere. Special shoutout to all of our waiters, they were really attentive and kept both the food and the drinks flowing at a nice pace. -@EduFoodNotes on

Beautiful ambiente, you feel like you're at your french Grandma's living room (in the best way possible haha). Their truffle croquettes are OUTSTANDING and the salmon filet with fries was also super good. Have to come back for brunch once!
