I was looking for some good New York style pizza while in the Columbus area and after reading a mix of reviews and posts on Facebook and Reddit I decided to try Cardinal Pizza. I wanted to like it but almost everything about the experience was sub par. A $30 pizza shouldn't feature burnt crust. I don't mind some browning of the crust, especially if it's wood fired, but you could taste the burnt crust in every bite. The atmosphere was worse sadly as it was obnoxiously loud. Best pizza in columbus. This is worth going out of your way for. Light, good amount of sauce and good sauce flavor, not too much cheese, love the New York style, not too expensive,. Crust is crunchy. My only possible critique is to crisp the under carriage just a tad more. Solid 8.5 at least.

Best pizza place in Columbus ! I make a 45 minute drive on the regular to eat here. Columbus crust pizza is perfect and the birdie bread is awesome. Like Little Caesars crazy bread but fresh and flavorful.
