I’ve been writing restaurant reviews for years all over the U.S. Mostly restaurants because let’s be honest… food is my love language. Good food and good service can heal emotional damage, lower blood pressure, and probably save marriages. So after seeing Negroni sitting there in Weston Town Center looking all fancy and mysterious for what feels like 37 years, my wife and I finally decided to go. No kids. No responsibilities. The food was outstanding, every plate we ordered was absolutely delicious. The service was also outstanding, every person around was attentive and very kind. The music was great and provided a great ambiance. The only thing I was not happy with was at the end of the night when the check came they had added 8% for “hospitality.” It was absurd, when I asked the server what that was, she just said it was charged due to “low season.” It was totally unnecessary and left a sour feeling after a great night.
