I have been at this place multiple times. I like their food and drinks (lavender cocktail is highly recommended) but every time I visit this place no matter how busy they are they always have some problems with service. For example, last time they brought french fries for my kid instead of fruit bowl and I had to wait to water refill and extra napkins forever. So they got very little tip!

The French onion soup and the baked goods are genuinely excellent and the warm, cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for a relaxed client lunch. When I'm working in the Aliso Viejo area and need a reliable, quality spot for a mid-day meal, Mimi's always fits the bill. The consistency here over the years is remarkable and worth recognizing.
