We came here last minute on the Fourth of July and they were generously able to accommodate our party of 5. I don’t know if it was luck or what but we looked at the menu after walking in the heat and it looked good. They sat us in the sofa bar section despite us not having a reservation so we were already off to a good start. Our waitress was so sweet & for drinks I had an Aperol spritz that was the PERFECT RATIO, my sister got the Parisian Frog Cocktail and the bartender here really knows their stuff. 10/10 on the drinks right off the bat. We ordered two charcuterie boards and ate 99% of both

Had an amazing experience — the atmosphere was cozy and laid-back, the service was super friendly, and Chef James absolutely crushed it with the food. Everything came out fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of spot where you instantly feel comfortable, get treated well, and leave talking about how good the meal was. Easily a 5-star visit and a place I’ll be coming back to for sure.

A very quaint bistro across from the Cape Fear River just off the River Walk. The food was delicious. The service was great. It’s upstairs/downstairs so the servers work very hard to get drinks and good to the diners on both levels. I would say my only critique would be I prefer my French Onion Soup with beef stock. The chicken stock lacked a little of the richness but it was still very good.

The bean, rabbit and sausage dish (Wild Game Cassoulet) was very good - it is lentil based vs navy beans I have had at Russell's north of Seattle. The espresso martini was a A- a couple more expresso beans would have made it better IMHO. The salmon au vert my friend got tasted great, but was over salted a bit. The pistachio crust was great with a bit of greenery on top was excellent . The problem it was just extra salt IMHO - My friend agreed - one side was over salted not the pistachio herb infusion. The salmon was still good - cooked, paired & presented about perfectly. The french gree
