Visited with my partner, and we were immediately greeted by a friendly waitress who let us choose where we wanted to sit. We let her know that we only had large bills from the ATM and wondered if that would be a problem. The owner overheard and immediately took out his wallet and broke our bigger bills into smaller change. It was a really positive start, and set the tone for the rest of our meal. The food was really tasty, the atmosphere was good, and we felt like the prices for everything were extremely reasonable. Would definitely return if back in Bulawayo!

We were greeted with a friendly smile. All the staff members are kind and helpful. The cafe is beautiful. We sat in the library and they have a good collection of books including children's books. You can also play games and you can request a puzzle. The food itself is averagely priced. And tastes good. Big Man's Brekkie: 10/10, perfectly cooked steak and poached eggs. Chicken Curry with Rice & Naan: 7/10, it had just the right amount of heat Steak Burger with chips: 8/10 Overally a great place for breakfast or brunch whilst reading or working.

Indaba Cafe has been a "must-go" for a long part of my life,but I'm afraid it didn't live up to the expectations I had. To start off the sitting area to eat is lovely,the book are feels like if I pull back one book I would land up in Narnia, the rest of the store is also very homely and is on-theme with the Ndebele/Southern African culture dominant in the region. As for the food I ordered a chicken mayo which tasted good but I felt like they could have added for chicken to the sandwich considering it was $4.I thoroughly enjoyed the Kombucha and I recommend you try it when you go. Now for the negatives:the bathroom door did not close,which made for an uncomfortable experience when in the water closet. Also,the serivce could improve slightly,the waitresses seemed concerned with other things than serving which made the experience slightly awkward.That being said,I would recommend investing cautiously .

This is a really great spot and the staff are absolutely amazing! You are greeted with a smile, they are very well-spoken, and they are super helpful. The atmosphere is that of a relaxed family-run, European village restaurant - I like it! The background music volume is perfectly low, not disruptive, and is modern, pop music. Having visited a couple of times, I have noticed that mushroom and avocado availability seem to be an issue, which limits what I am willing to order but is not a train smash. The food portions are fair, but if you have a huge appetite, you may be disappointed. The cappucino is EXCELLENT!! Now, as for you there, sitting in the last 2 seater by the window - you're in my spot! 🤨 UPDATE: They also offer 90minutes free Wi-Fi, which really helps if you want to get some work done while having your coffee! Top stuff!
