Had a great lunch experience at Cafe Valdemeers! The chicken schnitzel was absolutely delicious — well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. What really stood out, though, was the excellent service. The staff were attentive and made the whole experience very enjoyable. If you’re in Harare and looking for a solid lunch spot, Cafe Valdemeers is definitely worth a visit. I’ll be coming back!

Across the street from Arundale Village. I had some time in between meetings and some work to do and Cafe Valdemeers seemed like the perfect spot to be. The staff was friendly (what Zimbabwean is not? :D ), I asked him to recommend me one of their most popular dishes so I went with the Full English Breakfast. He said, people usually really love the mushrooms. He was not wrong. They were seasoned so well! Yum! The place is lively, a lot of people around laughing and talking. Overall great vibe. The only downside for me is that there is not Wi-Fi (what!!?). I feel like this is important to know if you’re a visitor or have no local sim. I couldn’t work from there but I’d definitely go back for brunch!

I’m not normally one to leave a review, but I felt slightly disappointed in this establishment. I came for a coffee and to send an email… not only do they not have WiFi (forewarning freelancers) they charged me an extra $1 for asking for decaf and I had no idea until I had to pay. The total for my very weak latte was $5 usd. Very overpriced for what I received and left quite a sad taste in my mouth :( I understand extra charges… but I believe staff should communicate that. Anyways… check the photo to see a barely consumed … warm milk $5 usd latte 🥲
