What people say

The food taste and experience is extremely consistent!! The first bite reminds you of your last experience. That garlic is to die for!! Keep up the good work. When you go next time look for Felix! Great service there.
Grilled chicken ages well with good spices. If you dip it into the garlic sauce, it is super 👍 The restaurant looks a antique classic house, giving off the mood that you are eating out in the 19th century. I do not recommend fish though.
Great ambience for lunch, business lunches, dinners. The chicken is tasty and portions are great. The bread and garlic with the chilli soup as a starter I can't get enough. Staff is polite and food is always on time

The waiters didn’t attend to us as nicely as they attended to non-black patrons. Prices as presented on the bill were higher than shown on the menu. They don’t include sides so they sneak them in for a pretty hefty fee, and the waiters don’t even alert you to the little trick. The options for drinks are limited. And I had the worst ‘Malawi shandy’ (pictured) Nice place though

I visited Coimbra restaurant, and their half chicken is the best. My colleague recommended it, and I think it's the best chicken I have ever tested. Their peri-peri and garlic sauce on their delicious bread is a fantastic starter! The garlic and per peri sauce on their half chicken just makes the best combo. I will definitely visit again.

Coimbra Restaurant, Harare Zimbabwe. A nice unassuming restaurant in a tree shaded location. Their specialty is Portuguese food. The menu is limited but a well chosen repertoire. We enjoyed the steaks. Generous servings. We asked for medium rare and the chef did it spot on. Do try their garlic butter. Superb. There was a reasonable choice for vegetarians too. Service was quick and efficient. Cheerful, helpful staff. Prices were reasonable.

Clean place...Fast service...Great portions.. Decent prices on the half chicken selection. Enjoyed the complementary breads, gravy and garlic. Guard at the door gives a nice welcome... Some waiters a little sour but they're fast. Reservations required...fills up quick

The servers were overwhelmed and were running around . The food was nit up to standard, the fish was burnt
